What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mentor position at Rock Ferry iPhone Repairs?
Friends of Children and Families is seeking qualified individuals to provide mentoring services to youth in the Orlando area. (East & West Orange County- Pine Hills area)
Responsibilities
Make phone contact with Mentee within 72 hours of receiving referral, and make face to face contact within one week of receiving the referral.
Submit The Following On a Biweekly Basis
Contact log and the log must contain signature of the guardian or foster parent for each service rendered.
Activity Notes
Phone/Text/Email Contacts
Contact Logs must be submitted within the month that services were rendered.
Abide by all rules, policies, and procedures, as stated in the Mentor Handbook, or provided by the Program Coordinator or other authorized representative of the agency.
Must participate in all required trainings.
Complete commitment to work with the program for at least eight (8) hours per month for one (1) year, unless otherwise agreed.
Report any suspected child abuse and/or neglect.
Confidentiality
Submit monthly meeting and activity logs to the Program Coordinator, and maintain regular and open communication with the Program Coordinator or other designated staff as requested.
Complete HIPAA and Deaf and Hard of Hearing trainings on an annual basis and submit to HR.
Mentors are paid on the second payroll of the month following the month in which services were rendered. (Ex. Mentor sees mentee in October, by November 5th the mentor submits the time sheet from October services provided. The October hours worked are paid on the second payroll in November)
Please note: All Mentors must pass a level II background screening as well as a drug screening. This process can take approximately 2-4 weeks to complete.

Salary : $20 - $25
