Rock Creek Wellness is a concierge-style, cash-pay medical practice in Leawood, Kansas, specializing in longevity, hormone optimization, and preventive health. We’ve been open for over 20 years. Our patients aren’t here because they’re sick. They’re here because they want to feel their best, live longer, and optimize their health, and they’re willing to invest in that.

Because we don’t take insurance and our providers spend up to an hour with each patient, the pace here is fundamentally different. It’s controlled. It’s intentional. You won’t be shuffling patients in and out every 10 minutes. You’ll have time to actually do your job well, which makes all the difference.

We are currently looking to fill this position on a part-time basis, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work alongside our medical director and providers to keep clinical operations running smoothly and ensure every patient has an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting hormone replacement therapy patients by taking vitals, administering injections, and submitting prescriptions
• Operating and monitoring hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) sessions
• Performing DEXA body composition scans
• Preparing and breaking down treatment rooms, including sterilization of procedure instruments
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
• Fielding patient questions, responding to messages, and coordinating follow-up care
• Keeping current on the therapies and products we offer so you can speak to them knowledgeably
• Monitoring and maintaining clinical supply inventory

This is a hands-on clinical role with real variety, not a desk job, and not an assembly line.

What We’re Looking For

We’re selective about who joins our team. The right candidate has the skills to perform at a high level and the interpersonal qualities to match our standard of care.

Required:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. You’ll be composing emails and messages to patients regularly, so grammatical precision matters.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Comfort with technology. We use EMR systems and various software that require above-average proficiency.

Preferred (but we’ll train the right person):

• Familiarity with hormone replacement therapy or integrative/functional medicine
• Background in an outpatient, wellness, or concierge practice setting
• Experience with injection administration
