What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Assistant Golf Professional position at Rock Creek Golf Club?
Overview
Help customer select merchandise, make tee-times, answer phones, totals bill, accepts payment, registers players utilizing "Foreup" point of sale, and maintains appearance of golf shop.
*PGA Member- Assistants would run our PGA Jr league and assist our instructional staff in our other seasonal clinics/programs offered to our members and public guests.
- Previous Customer Service experience is desirable
- Previous Golf Operations experience is desirable
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the Golf Shop, Outside Guest Services and Driving Range
- Assist in checking in golfers in the POS and Tee-Sheet reservation system
- Assist with oversight of Outside Golf Services staff to ensure the highest quality of customer service is achieved
- Assist in the selling of golf equipment, apparel and accessories in the golf shop
- Assist Head Professional in Tournament set up and scoring
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times
