***2000 rental units with full staff of Supers and maintenance staff.
***Made up of mid rise and townhouse style properties.

This energetic leader will oversee the operational, financial, and administrative functions of diverse residential communities, ensuring exceptional service delivery and compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, leasing, and real estate administration, with a passion for fostering positive tenant relationships and maintaining high standards of property upkeep. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple properties, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize occupancy rates and revenue growth through effective leasing and upselling techniques.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to streamline data entry, financial reporting, and lease administration.
- Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with legal standards.
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, lease agreements, and dispute resolution while managing conflict effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections, oversee property repairs, and manage vendor relationships to uphold high-quality living environments.
- Maintain accurate records through filing systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and other administrative tools while ensuring timely data entry.
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Lead staff training on office procedures, conflict management, lease negotiations, Fair Housing laws, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills for lease agreements, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing systems, and administrative office procedures.
- Knowledge of facilities management practices including property maintenance coordination and CMMS utilization.
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette to handle tenant concerns effectively.
- Conflict management abilities to resolve disputes amicably while maintaining compliance with legal standards.
- Office experience that includes handling contracts, legal documentation, filing systems, and administrative support functions.
