Toddler Teacher

We are looking to hire a full-time toddler teacher!

The Specific Position:

In this position we are looking for someone who can work between the hours of 8-5:30 pm Monday-Friday. This position will be a co-teacher position with two other full time teachers. The most children ever with two staff is 10 though we try to keep the ratio 1-4. The ages in the classroom range from 19 months-3 years old. We have one young toddler room (18 months-28 months with 4 children), and older toddler (24 months-3 years old with max of 10).

You would work well with us if:

• You understand and value teaching young children and recognize that the first five years of a child's life are very important to their overall development.
• You are good at multitasking and value a clean organized environment to work in.
• You have experience with toddlers in a licensed childcare facility (but we are willing to train the right candidate.)
• You are looking to further your education and/or training. We as a team value learning and innovating as a childcare facility.
• You value high quality food and have a positive approach to introducing new foods to children.
• You have a passion for teaching and connecting with children.
• You are a team player and want to work in a classroom that is based on collaboration and growth. We do not have traditional "lead" and "assistants".
• You have your CPR certificate and background check. (Must pass a background check before hire and gain CPR certification within 60 days of hire).
• You want to contribute to creating a safe, educational, and high-quality program with your coworkers. We are striving to give the children the best education we can.
• You are creative and able to think of new ideas quickly (toddlers are busy bodies and our classroom is constantly adapting to their development)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
