CNC Production Operator

We are seeking a C-Shift CNC Operator who is an attentive and reliable candidate who thrives in a team environment with high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines. There is a wage differential for working C-Shift.

Job Summary:

This C-Shift position requires knowledge of CNC operation (no programming). It is a production-focused role responsible for loading and unloading parts, changing tools, and performing measurement checks to ensure conformance to specifications.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

· Operate CNC machines to load and unload parts.

· Change tools as required during the production process.

· Perform measurement checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

· Use inspection equipment to verify product quality.

· Adhere to internal safety standards.

· Maintain a positive and respectful attitude in a team environment.

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Proficient in CNC machine operation (no programming required).

· Familiarity with inspection equipment.

· Basic mathematical skills and ability to use calculators and computers.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints with an understanding of geometric tolerances.

· Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

· Adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Preferred: Minimum of two years of CNC machine operation experience.

· Familiarity with Makino or Kitamura CNC machines preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery.

· Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

· Visual acuity for part inspection and reading measurements.

Work Environment:

· Manufacturing environment with required eye and hearing protection.

· Exposure to noise and moving machinery.
