Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Coppell, TX. This role is hands-on and spans the full product lifecycle, from concept through production.
The Sr Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and validate embedded hardware systems, including mixed-signal circuits, power architectures, and sensor interfaces. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB design oversight, firmware-hardware integration, and system-level debugging.
The role works closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to deliver robust, production-ready designs. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting field issues, driving design improvements, and supporting new product introductions (NPI).
Qualifications- Strong background in electrical engineering with hands-on design experience in embedded systems
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design, including sensor signal conditioning and power management
- Proven ability to analyze, debug, and resolve complex hardware issues from prototype through production
Wireless / BLE Experience
- Practical experience designing and integrating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or similar wireless systems
- Understanding of advertising, scan response, GATT services, and low-power communication strategies
- Experience optimizing wireless performance for battery-powered devices, including duty cycling, power budgets, and RF considerations
- Familiarity with BLE security concepts such as pairing, encryption, and firmware update (FOTA) mechanisms
PCB Design Experience
- Hands-on experience with schematic capture and multi-layer PCB design
- Strong understanding of layout best practices, including signal integrity, grounding, impedance control, and EMI/EMC considerations
- Experience reviewing layouts for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA), including collaboration with PCB vendors
- Ability to debug hardware issues using lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
- Experience with power distribution and embedded power systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work across hardware and firmware boundaries
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in industrial or high-volume manufacturing environments is a plus
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (FCC, CE, etc.) is a plus
- PE license is a plus
