Affordable Housing Maintenance Technician

Rochester’s Cornerstone Group is seeking to hire a Full-Time Maintenance Technician in the Clifton Springs area.

$20-$23.00/hour based on experience.

Maintenance Technicians will be expected to perform tasks including, but not limited to:

• Be professional, calm and courteous to residents and staff.
• Take care of the overall outstanding daily upkeep of the property- all aspects, inside and out.
• Take pride in your craft.
• Take initiative.
• Take accountability.
• Schedule, coordinate, monitor and perform all maintenance, service requests, and repairs.
• Document daily maintenance activity including problems encountered, work completed and vacancy status updates.
• Perform, monitor, inspect, and conduct evaluations necessary to prepare apartments for move in of future tenants.
• Inspect the property daily and maintain proper cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Work professionally, respectfully, ethically, and cooperatively at all times.
  
  

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and building systems.
• Prior experience working in property management a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to respond to on-call shifts.
• Personal cell phone required (reimbursement included).
