The Warehouse Operator, under moderate supervision, picks and prepares orders for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) device, loads and unloads trucks, and adheres to warehouse standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Essential Job Functions
- Load and unload carrier vehicles receiving/delivering goods and materials for the warehouse, ensuring correct item counts per supplier packing list and BOL
- Operate forklift in multi-level racking system
- Customer order processing using RF device: pick, palletize and shrink wrap items for shipping using proper procedures for weight and hazards
- Locate product in storage areas per RF device
- Condense and maintain product in a neat and orderly fashion
- Maintain safety awareness in and around work areas, observe and report potential areas of concern
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Sit down forklift experience
- Warehouse/shipping experience in manufacturing environment
- RF scanning device knowledge preferred but not necessary
- Strong ability to read and comprehend English
- Manual dexterity
