Essential Job Functions
Service Contract Renewals
- Manage the end-to-end process of renewing service contracts, ensuring timely communication with customers ahead of expiration dates.
- Achieve and exceed individual renewal rate targets by proactively engaging with customers via phone, email, and other channels.
- Address customer questions and objections to secure commitments for contract renewals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to promote retention and loyalty.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into the value and benefits of continued service contracts.
- Partner with customer success and support teams to resolve any service-related concerns.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services during the renewal process.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote new offerings that enhance customer value.
- Accurately update and maintain records of customer interactions and renewal activities in the CRM system or excel.
- Provide regular reports on renewal rates, customer feedback, and upsell success to leadership.
- Use data to identify trends and recommend strategies to improve renewal outcomes.
- Work closely with the sales operations and finance teams to streamline the renewal process.
- Provide feedback on processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 2 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a similar role, preferably in a recurring revenue or subscription-based business.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in renewals or customer retention.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle objections and close deals.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
