Job Summary

Proactive and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to focus on renewing service contracts and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a high rate of contract renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and reducing customer churn. Your efforts will directly impact recurring revenue and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

Service Contract Renewals

  • Manage the end-to-end process of renewing service contracts, ensuring timely communication with customers ahead of expiration dates.
  • Achieve and exceed individual renewal rate targets by proactively engaging with customers via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Address customer questions and objections to secure commitments for contract renewals.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to promote retention and loyalty.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into the value and benefits of continued service contracts.
  • Partner with customer success and support teams to resolve any service-related concerns.

Revenue Growth

  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services during the renewal process.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote new offerings that enhance customer value.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Accurately update and maintain records of customer interactions and renewal activities in the CRM system or excel.
  • Provide regular reports on renewal rates, customer feedback, and upsell success to leadership.
  • Use data to identify trends and recommend strategies to improve renewal outcomes.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

  • Work closely with the sales operations and finance teams to streamline the renewal process.
  • Provide feedback on processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Education

EDUCATION/ SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a similar role, preferably in a recurring revenue or subscription-based business.

Skills

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in renewals or customer retention.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle objections and close deals.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
