Description
This position requires the operator to maintain control of two 9 ton pressure pour furnaces including monitoring and controlling the temperature of the furnace; and, the condition of the refractory in the pouring trough. The operator also sets up each production job to pour in automatic mode using PourTech laser pour systems.
1st shift = $21.60
2nd shift = $22.85
3rd shift = $22.60

Requirements
- Obtains necessary samples of the final iron.
- Pours metal test bars.
- Ability to ensure all parts of RMP’s Quality System for this position are met.
- Ability to maintain a clean and uncluttered work area.
- Ability to will work around molten metal and must wear all required safety equipment.
- Ability to use computer controls and equipment that inoculates the molten metal as it enters the mold.
- Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more occasionally.
- Ability to train and operate a jackhammer.
