Job Overview
We seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealership settings or automotive repair, with a strong focus on tire service and vehicle maintenance. This role involves performing tire replacements, alignments, oil changes, and other mechanical repairs while providing excellent customer service. The Tire Technician will utilize various hand tools and power tools to ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment
- Perform wheel alignments, balancing, and rotation services to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed
- Diagnose automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics tools
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during repairs and maintenance
- Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional repairs or maintenance when appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during service operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive repair background required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in oil changes and tire services
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks including heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license required
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 52.0 per week
