Commercial Project Manager- doors, frames, & Hardware

Position Overview

Supports the mission of Rochester Colonial as part of the Commercial Department. Identifies opportunities and prepares bids and quotes for division.

Essential Job Functions

· Overseeing projects from start to finish

· Submittals and shop drawings

· Assess field conditions and measurements with general contractors

· Provide accurate measurements and descriptions for all hardware and materials

· Order and track materials

· Review and execute RFI’s, change orders and related changes to contract necessary for invoicing

· Work with warehouse to prepare materials for delivery dates

· Meeting the general contractor crews onsite as installations commence and as needed during the project to provide technical advice and to resolve problems

· Attend jobsite meetings as needed

· Review all purchase orders and compare the PO’s against the initial estimates submitted by the sales team

· Confirm estimated profit margins are in line with the scope of work needed to complete work, both allocated labor and materials

· On-site job management during installation if needed

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

· Self-starter with a high attention to detail

· Blue print/plan reading

· Deadline conscious and goal driven

· Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing deadlines

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Ability to multi-task

Other Skills/Abilities

· 5 years related experience in Commercial Hollow Metal (Doors & Frames), Wood doors & Architectural Hardware

Knowledge of doors, frames and hardware, building and safety material for the general commercial construction industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Construction project mgmnt: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Drivers License (Required)
