Reconditioning Technicians inspect, recondition, and add value to the used vehicles prior to resale by ensuring interior and exterior appearance standards are met or exceeded.

Core Responsibilities
- Perform exterior walk around; inspect vehicles for appearance concerns.
- Perform necessary repair and maintenance work to ensure the vehicle is reconditioned to the desired level.
- Fill out daily work sheets.
- Maintain clean and organized work environment; ensure equipment, tools and supplies are properly stored.
- Typical reconditioning duties include paint buffing, mixing, and applying touch-up paint, interior seat and carpet repairs, etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical degree preferred)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to buff paint is helpful.
- Valid state driver’s license & ability to be insured through RMC liability insurance required.
- Operate hand tools and machinery.
- Position body to perform vehicle maintenance.
- Walk the car lots to inspect vehicles.
