Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety procedures, NFPA 70 standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate into safety hazards or operational failures.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to plan wiring layouts for various projects.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and upgrades for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician
- Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and low-voltage systems in construction or renovation projects.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) regulations and adherence to local electrical codes is essential.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Wire tracing equipment

- Ability to work safely on construction sites while following safety procedures related to electrical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent hand tool proficiency for precise installation and repairs.
