Job Description
Summary/objective
The Non-Ferrous Laborer is responsible for supporting the Non-Ferrous Sorter in sorting and processing non-ferrous materials, including aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel.
Essential functions

- Assist the Non-Ferrous Sorter in sorting and processing non-ferrous materials.
- Prepare materials for sale by segregating and cleaning
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
- Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
