Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Conduct thorough patrols of the facility’s interior and exterior areas to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved
- Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency responders arrive
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is highly desirable
- Proven ability to operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras effectively
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR from recognized organizations is preferred
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control systems, and emergency response procedures
- Ability to remain alert for extended periods while maintaining a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
