Responsible for conducting research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support Ventana projects. Exercises technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies. Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses. Presents and discusses results of experiments within department and project team. Maintains high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies. Follows company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate. Maintains complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files. May act as principal investigator in conducting own experiments.
The Opportunity
The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Arizona, is 69,700.00 - 129,400.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.

The Opportunity
- Designs and executes complex laboratory experiments, including immunohistochemical assays, to support research and product development
- Analyzes and interprets data, generating insights and recommending next steps to advance project objectives
- Develops, optimizes, and troubleshoots assays, workflows, and experimental protocols
- Collaborates cross-functionally with project teams and technical leads to solve scientific challenges and meet project goals
- Communicates results through clear presentations and documentation, ensuring alignment with stakeholders
- Maintains accurate electronic lab records and ensures compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
- Supports lab operations, including reagent preparation, materials management, and use of digital platforms
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, OR
- You hold a Master’s Degree in a scientific field with relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex scientific challenges
- Demonstrates independence and sound judgment in developing methods and evaluating results
- Effective team collaboration and cross-functional partnership across technical and project teams
- Clear communication and presentation skills for conveying technical information
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
- Focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and mentoring others
