What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler I position at Roche?
Performs specific warehouse functions such as Shipping, Receiving, or Materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain pertinent files and paperwork.
Ship, receive, or handle material per appropriate departmental OPs and SOPs.
Organize warehouse storage.
Stock shelves, or racking with either finished or in process material.
Ensure that Production materials are distributed on time and accurately.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal Training/Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience:
A minimum of six 6 months experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Self motivated.
Attention to detail.
Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Some knowledge of Microsoft Word documents.
General data entry skills.
Training Requirements:
QSR.
CAPA.
Chemical Hazards.
FDA Compliance.
Forklift Training.
Safety Training.

Perform simple calculations.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out simple written or oral instructions.
