What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at RoccWorks LLC?
EXPERIENCE A MUST - NOT A FORKLIFT
Responsibilities:
Operate skid steer with attachments including cold planer, bucket, forks, broom, and other attachments.
Operate steel drum roller to achieve proper asphalt compaction.
Operate excavator for asphalt removal, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
Assist with paver setup, loading, cleanup, and jobsite organization.
Help with screed operation when needed and learn all aspects of asphalt paving.
Perform daily equipment inspections, fueling, greasing, and basic maintenance.
Assist with hand work including raking, shoveling, and cleanup as needed.
Safely load and unload equipment from trailers.
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional jobsite.
Qualifications:
Experience operating skid steers, rollers, and excavators.
Asphalt paving experience is a plus but willing to train the right person.
Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
Must be dependable, on time, and willing to work 50 hours per week.
Must be willing to travel throughout Tennessee.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
