Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and ice cream beverages using various brewing methods and equipment
• Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide personalized recommendations
• Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including drink preparation stations and dining spaces
• Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
• Manage cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and receipt issuance
• Support restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Experience with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Food industry experience including serving or food preparation is advantageous
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs and standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
