Rocateq USA was established in 2008 and provides hardwareand software based solutions focused on loss prevention, asset management and tracking for supermarkets and DIY-stores. Our Checkout Security system is designed to mitigate pushout theft. This system is an RFID based fully wireless solution integrated with a backend cloud-based dashboard to monitor events and devices. We also provide our Cart Security system to inhibit shopping cart theft from parking lots.
*Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for innovation. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and servicing Rocateq’s Checkout Security system while support other teams with training, installation and service work. You will be responsible for delivering successful installations to our customers and guiding other engineers to achieve company goals. You will foster a collaborative team environment while ensuring the continuous growth and development of team members.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Installation of Checkout Security systems encompassing wireless transmitters, internet connectivity, wireless signal tuning, dashboard and CCTV connections
- Create ‘As Built’ drawings
- Train and coach new and existing engineers on Rocateq best practices and standards to ensure uniformity across all installations and services.
- Manage Rocateq’s adherence to industry and technical standards ensuring compliance and safety
- Monitor project progress and make data-driven decisions to optimize efficiencies and processes.
- Stay current with technological advancements and incorporate relevant innovations into engineering processes.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of radio transmission systems, IOT, WiFi is a must
