A growing defense and aerospace technology company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support advanced electronic systems, sustainment programs, and complex hardware initiatives across defense and aviation applications.
Job Summary:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will serve as a hands-on technical contributor and subject matter expert supporting the design, development, troubleshooting, sustainment, and improvement of electronic systems and hardware platforms. This role supports projects across analog/digital electronics, RF systems, power analysis, and high-speed board design environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in two or more of the following areas:
- RF
- Radar
- HUD/MFD/display systems
- Power supply design
- Firmware or test software
- ICT/JTAG
- High-speed analog/digital electronics
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design, troubleshooting, validation, and sustainment activities
- Develop schematics, assembly drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Support testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and prototype evaluation
- Participate in design reviews and technical decision-making
- Support manufacturing, vendor interaction, and engineering change efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering and production teams
- Support multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
- Track project status, timelines, and deliverables
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on electrical engineering background
- Experience with RF, radar, power analysis, or high-speed digital/analog systems
- Experience with ICT/JTAG environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with PCB layout and schematic capture tools
- Experience supporting sustainment, repair, refurbishment, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced engineering environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering preferred
- 4–7 years of experience preferred
- Experience within defense, aerospace, avionics, or complex electronics environments preferred
Additional Information:
- Fully onsite role
- 9/80 schedule offered (every other Friday off)
- Approximately 10% travel required
