What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network IT Manager position at Roc Search?
Roc Search is currently working with a leading State agency that is looking for a Network IT Manager to join their team.
As the Network IT Manager, you will have 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing Cisco Networks. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of networking concepts and experience with Cisco network devices, SD LAN implementation, and FortiGate/ Fortinet firewalls.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of Cisco Networking experience, with a focus on network configuration and management.
- CCNE and CCNA certifications.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
- Proven experience with SD LAN implementation and management.
- Solid understanding and ability to explain all layers of the OSI Model.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing network technicians and engineers.
- Experience managing Cisco wireless controllers, specifically handling large-scale deployments.
- Cloud networking experience with a focus on extending networks into cloud environments (Azure or AWS).

- Location – Fully Remote
- W2 Rate – $64/hr - $70/hr dependent on relevant experience
- Length – 6 month Contract to Hire
