We’re seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service and Repair Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems while providing the highest level of service to our clients. Your expertise and professionalism will ensure every home we service runs safely, efficiently, and reliably.

• Proven experience as a Residential Plumbing Technician or in a related service role

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for residential plumbing systems

• In-depth understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to doing the job right the first time

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Service and Repairs

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues involving fixtures, piping, water heaters, and residential systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system longevity and efficiency.

• Respond promptly to service calls and deliver quality workmanship with professionalism.

Customer Service

• Communicate clearly with clients to explain issues, proposed solutions, and maintenance recommendations.

• Provide courteous, professional, and timely service to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

• Uphold Roby’s reputation through honesty, craftsmanship, and care in every interaction.

Compliance and Safety

• Follow plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company procedures at all times.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper use and handling of tools and materials.

• Promote a culture of safety for yourself, your team, and your clients.

Documentation

• Record all service and repair activities accurately, including parts used and time spent.

• Provide clear, complete documentation for client reports and billing purposes.

Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members to complete service calls efficiently.

• Participate in meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices and new technologies.

• Support fellow team members to achieve department goals and uphold Roby’s service standards.
