Description
Business Development Associates (BDA) serve as the interface between our clients and our in-house technical experts. BDAs work directly with clients to understand the strategy and technical demand of a specific client and provide guidance on which of our technical investigation or testifying services offer the best solution.
BDAs focus on fostering existing client relationships and cultivating new client relationships. A successful BDA will require attention to detail and quality time management to manage and maintain client accounts. They will enjoy flexibility and the opportunity to travel and grow new accounts within their region. The BDA will leverage company sponsored conferences, client meetings and other in-person and virtual events to develop new client relationships.
The ideal candidate has impeccable communication skills and is motivated and self-driven to learn. A successful BDA will understand the language and needs of our clients, develop a functional understanding of the firm’s many technical offerings, and appreciate how each discipline is strategically dispatched to benefit our clients. Immediate training and support are provided alongside an exceptional business development and expert team to collaborate with and learn from. The company offers a competitive base salary commission and full benefits including PTO.

Responsibilities
- You will strengthen relationships and grow business with repeat and new clients.
- You will schedule and conduct meetings with clients in their offices to develop business.
- You will attend and participate in conferences and networking events.
- You will coordinate partnerships to host speaking presentations that showcase our services.
- You will manage sponsorships with professional organizations within your sales territory.
- You will field, manage, and follow up on incoming leads and inquiries.
- You will manage, track, and report sales activities and results.
- You will work with local and national experts to develop and execute sales strategies.
- You will stay current with developments in the legal industry and identify new opportunities.
- You will perform other related duties.
Requirements
- Your Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- You have 3 years of business development/sales experience in the professional services market.
- You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- You have experience w/ CRM software & your experience w/ Oracle/NetSuite systems is a plus.
- You can work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have excellent client relations skills.
- You have excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and follow up skills.
- You can multi-task and manage rapidly changing priorities.
- You can travel to events and meetings in addition to client offices.
- You have integrity always in everything you do.
