JOB DETAILS
Principle assignment is using forklifts, motorized equipment, order pickers, RF guns, overhead cranes, broom, hammer, and banding tools. Associate must demonstrate the ability to be moved to a higher job class as position become available.
Preferred Requirements
- 3 years Shipping and Receiving experience
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment
Required Education / Experience / Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receives, labels, pulls, stages, and delivers to manufacturing and finished goods, all parts or raw material required from inventory production schedules using WMS/CHESS
- Picks, verifies, packages, and loads orders for shipment using WMS/CHESS
- Documents or performs inventory transactions to maintain correct balances in the company database using WMS/CHESS
- Performs regular maintenance checks and housekeeping on lift trucks and warehouse equipment
- Performs daily cycle counts as required for inventory accuracy using WMS/CHESS
- Responsible for adherence and knowledge of all ISO processes, procedures, flowcharts, and quality policy
- Responsible for driving Self-Managed Performance (SMP) program through organization through self-motivation, initiative, and participation
- Cross-trains in other work centers as needed for the business
- Cross-trains in department processes and procedures as directed by supervision and in various departments on machine operation and/or production functions for possible movement to higher job class
- Responsible for identification, documentation, segregation, evaluation and disposition of non-conforming product, services and systems
- All department processes and procedures documented and the appropriate individual(s) trained and cross-trained as necessary
- Participates in education, warehouse projects, and other duties as required by the supervisor
- Performs similar or general type work in other job classifications as required
