Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Service Engineer specializing in robotics located in Chicago, IL Travel. Responsibilities include performing field installations, conducting troubleshooting and repairs, providing technical support to customers, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the optimal performance of robotic systems. Collaboration with clients to deliver excellent customer service and tailored solutions is central to this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Field Service and Preventive Maintenance, with the ability to manage equipment installations and ensure operational reliability.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing hands-on Technical Support for robotic systems and related technology.
- Strong Customer Service orientation with effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic situations and resolve technical issues in real-time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of automation components, motion control systems, and robotic technologies preferred.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate field service equipment safely.
Compensation
$80,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience
