Position Summary
This Project Manager position is to drive communication and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are executed at a high level
The person in this position is responsible for carrying out these essential functions in a manner which reflects the core values of Robotic Technical Support Services, Inc mission: To make a difference in the marketplace by providing Reliable, Respectful, and Responsible Engineering and Technical Services.
Essential Functions
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Understand and deliver to stakeholder needs and objectives.
2. Plan, track and manage project budgets, scopes of work, schedules, and tasks.
a. Generate accurate and timely reports on project status, progress and issues throughout project.
3. Develop and execute these items in a timely manner:
a. Project planning
b. Project kick-offs
c. Manpower loading and scheduling
d. Tracking project budgets, hours, travel, and expenses
e. Customer readiness checklist
f. Project buy-off documents (All phases of a project)
g. Tracking commercial aspects; PO’s, Invoices, Change-orders, etc.
h. Metrics for assessing project success
4. Ensure a lessons learned meeting is conducted at the end of each systems’ project
5. Use RTSS preferred software and other tools to successfully manage projects.
a. Management content should be centrally located and accessible by RTSS key stakeholders.
6. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the entire project life.
7. Help to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
8. Ensure projects are kept on track both in timing and budget
9. Manage resource allocation of installations and capacity planning
10. Coordinate cross-functional teams and/or contractors for successful project execution
11. Implement and optimize project management workflows
12. Provide on-site project management at customer facilities as necessary for successful implementation of systems and to ensure satisfied customers.
STAKEHOLDER & COMMUNICATION ALIGNMENT
1. Communicate project priorities and timelines to leadership and stakeholders
2. Translate business requirements into technical execution
3. Collaborate with engineering manager, QA, Manufacturing/Service and Admin teams
4. Ensure customer needs and feedback are considered in project execution
5. Monitor and report progress, risks, and milestones
6. Work directly with RTSS team members and customers to assess project requirements throughout entire project life.
7. Collaborate with the sales team on cost estimates and quoting new projects.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this job include, but are not limited to, the ability to speak, hear, and see near and far as well as walking to use office and shop equipment, filing, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and use of power and cutting tools. This position also requires hand dexterity.
This position may require working at heights greater than 6 feet and working in small spaces.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening, weekend and holiday work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
The expected travel for this position is a minimum of 20% and will primarily occur during project scope and installation phases.

Required Education and Experience
An associates degree or higher in a related degree in project management, communication or business. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management and robot integration knowledge is preferred. Must have experience using Microsoft applications.
Preferred Experience
- At least 3 years of experience managing complex projects involving the development of a product, installation and management of contractors at a customer facility
- Experience with project management software and tools
- PMP certification is a plus
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Salary
Salary is dependent upon credentials and will be negotiated with job offer.
