Job Overview
The Clinical Director’s principal function is to lead a team of compassionate staff to care for our clients that are suffering from addiction and/or co-occuring disorders. The Clinical Director oversees, assigns, coordinates, and assists all staff in the quality of care for all our clients.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Duties
- Assigns caseloads and related duties, and coordinates staff in providing counseling services to assist clients
- Assists staff members through individual and/or group meetings in analyzing case problems and improving their concerns and helping skills
- Evaluates the performance of all staff members, and recommends any action to be taken
- Assists in the development of staff competencies
- Works with the Program Director and staff to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate prevention and educational activities, and outings for clients
- Trains new employees on policies and procedures, and the electronic health record system (Kipu)
- Provides direction to all staff in new policies, procedures, regulations and new therapeutic treatments and healing activities
- Represents Robles Ranch Mental Health in the community or in interagency activities
- Assist staff in development programs
- Attends Robles Ranch Mental Health meetings and/or other meetings as assigned
- Maintains a 24-hour on call availability and manages on-call staffing schedule
- Adheres to accreditation and compliance standards/guidelines
- Maintains a professional, organized, clean working environment by following organizational policies, guidelines and safety standards
- Assists in development of departmental policy, procedures, and quality
Experience
- Proven experience in healthcare management with a strong background in medical management and clinical leadership
- Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams within a regulated environment
- Familiarity with accreditation processes such as JCAHO standards and requirements
- Strong understanding of healthcare policies, compliance regulations, and quality improvement strategies
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead change effectively and motivate staff toward shared goals
- Prior experience in implementing healthcare management systems and operational workflows
Education:
Master’s level degree in Psychology, Therapy, Social Work or related field preferred.
LCSW, LMFT, LPC licensure or equivalent required.
AOD specialization/experience preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
