REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or equivalent * A.A./A.S. Degree or minimum of 48 college units *In place of college units, applicants may take a district skills test and upon passage meet the educational requirement * Provide assistance to students in various areas including cognitive, gross, and fine motor skills, academic learning, social and physical development * Model a patient, understanding and receptive attitude towards all students; including those who display extreme verbal and/or physical behaviors * Monitors individual students to maintain a safe and positive learning environment * Prior job related experience * Interpersonal skills to relate to parents, students and staff Applicants must included the following: 1. Classified Application through Edjoin 2. Resume 3. Letters of Recommendation 4. High School Diploma, Transcripts or GED equivalent 5. Copy of A.A./A.S.
