JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB OVERVIEW As a Welder Fabricator, your role is to
create metal structures and products using welding and fabrication
techniques. Your daily tasks will include reading blueprints, measuring
and welding metal pieces together to form a finished product. You will
need to have good GMAW and FCAW skills along with grinding, drilling,
cutting and plasma metal removal processes. Attention to detail is
crucial, as even small mistakes can compromise the integrity of the
finished product. Alongside technical expertise, you will need physical
strength and stamina to work with heavy machinery and the ability to
work long hours on your feet. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not
limited to) Ensure high-quality production with minimal rework, meeting
efficiency and production goals. Assist and guide other fabricators to
ensure consistent quality and teamwork skills. Fit, tack, and weld
fabrications to completion, verifying dimensions for accuracy. Maintain
a clean, organized work area and promote a safe work environment.
Identify issues, propose solutions, and present data-driven
recommendations. Foster teamwork, provide support, and respond
constructively to feedback. Operate welding equipment and machinery
safely and effectively, adhering to established procedures and safety
protocols. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to
address any issues or concerns related to welding processes or product
quality. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those
related to safety, quality assurance, and workplace conduct. \*\*\*\*\*
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: high school diploma or
equivalent with additional technical certification or vocational
training in welding preferred. Experience: proven experience as a welder
in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with proficiency in MIG,
TIG, and stick welding techniques. Strong understanding of welding
principles, metallurgy, and material properties, with the ability to
interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings. Familiarity with
welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, torches,
grinders, and measuring instruments. Excellent attention to detail and
manual dexterity, with the ability to produce precise and consistent
welds on a variety of metal materials. Demonstrated ability to work
effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to established
