RFC performs governmental audits covering federal, state and local programs. In addition, the Firm provides services for not-for-profit clients, charitable organizations, voluntary health and welfare, and property owners associations. A full range of professional accounting, auditing, fiscal planning, consulting and tax services is also offered. RFC has offices in Charlottesville, Blacksburg, Louisa, Richmond, Fredericksburg and Staunton.

As an Audit Intern at Robinson, Farmer, Cox (RFC), you will deliver audit and other assurance services to clients. RFC offers you upward career trajectory, meaningful relationships with clients, teammates and leadership who truly care about you and your development.

Successful Candidates Will Be

  • Enrolled as a student during the current school year in an accounting or related business program,
  • Able to work full time?for the duration of the internship
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship during the intern program and as a full-time employee

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization desired
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experience

  • Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
