What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Robinson Construction?
RECEPTIONIST
The Receptionist is responsible for all front desk administrative operations, customer service, coding invoices, and various data entry tasks as assigned.

- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
- Notifies company personnel of visitor arrivals
- Answers, screens and forwards incoming phone calls
- Receives, sorts, and distributes daily mail/deliveries to appropriate departments
- Orders front office supplies and keeps stock of inventory
- Coordinates and communicates recognition of office personnel
- Reviews, and accurately assigns appropriate cost codes to incoming vendor invoices
- Enters and distributes Invoices into paperless documents
- Distributes job related invoices to Project Managers staff
- Performs other data entry and other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in an office environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of computers, software applications (including MS Office)
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills, telephone skills
- Must be professional and customer service driven
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
- Must be able to effectively read and interpret information
- Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to hear, comprehend and speak English
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to work with standard office equipment
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
OTHER:
- Some overtime or work outside of normal business may be required periodically.
