Duties
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients under supervision.
- Support the catering team by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for events or banquet functions.
- Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing stations, storage areas, and kitchen floors through regular cleaning routines.
- Buss tables and clear used dishware from dining areas promptly to facilitate smooth service flow.
- Help with food handling tasks following safety protocols to ensure hygiene and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to support food service operations and maintain a positive environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing, food preparation, or dishwashing is advantageous.
- Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale catering events can be beneficial.
