PLANT ENGINEER- MECHANICAL EXPERT
Robindale Energy is seeking a Full Time, On-Site Plant Engineer-Mechan- ical expert to support its Seward power plant in Southwest PA. Employee will provide engineering support to main- tain continuous plant operations and high efficiency. This position serves as a key technical resource in solving problems relating to stationary and ro- tating equipment, covering daily plant needs, providing project oversight, and directly supporting operations and maintenance crews as well as contractors in hands-on troubleshooting of jobs. Must have good working knowledge of various pumps, fans, blowers, com- pressors, motors, and gearboxes. Expe- rience with bearings (rolling & sleeve), couplings, mechanical seals, oil analy- sis, vibration analysis, outage planning, parts and machinery refurbishment and re-engineering of parts also required. The Plant Engineer-Mechanical imple- ments solutions to continuously improve reliability and reduce maintenance cost. This position supports plant safety and mechanical integrity through develop- ment of procedures and predictive/pre- ventative maintenance plans. A success- ful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technology and over 5 years of power plant experience.
