Assistant Director for Systemic Programming
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering strong results
- Bachelor’s degree in non-profit management or public administration preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience in effective diverse programs.
- Ability to relate to persons of diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in identifying potential funding sources and in acquiring funding.
- Well versed in CRM and Donor Management software types
- Background in community organizing and development
- Faith-driven desire to bring about positive change
- Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills; collegial and collaborative working style; analytical and attention to detail
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research the social, political and economic conditions of Robeson County and surrounding regions
- Research the historical context of the socio-economic disparities within the region
- Act as a liaison for the Center with partnering organizations addressing parallel social issues
- Act as a liaison and advocate for the Center with local government agencies
- Identify predominant drivers of poor health outcomes for the regional population
- Plan and present programming that will provide long-term solutions to systemic issues within the county to the Executive Director/Board of Directors
- Compile reports to aid in the Center’s advocacy efforts
- Attend various workshops and trainings around systemic programming and the advancement of rural communities
- Execute programming including but not limited to transitional housing, financial literacy, gardening, parenting classes, community liaisons
- Engage volunteers, employees and consultants in partnerships with churches, industries, government, civic and service organizations in order to acquire adequate marketing and funding.
- Help develop additional projects and ministries with Board approval as needed.
- Represent the agency and present programs on Center ministries to groups.
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the Executive Director.
Pay: $45,460.72 - $54,748.39 per year
