Robeson Community College is seeking a qualified and student-focused Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and support student success within the Basic Skills Education program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Teaching experience in a community college or public-school setting
- Knowledge of English, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Literature
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Experience teaching Adult Basic Education in a community college or public-school setting
Responsibilities
- Teach Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses in accordance with college and state guidelines
- Develop instructional materials and assess student learning
- Advise and support students toward program completion
- Maintain accurate student records and program compliance
- Participate in professional development and college activities
- Support student recruitment, retention, and community outreach efforts
Requirements
Candidates must:
