What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver (Box Truck) and Warehouse Associate position at ROBERTSON HGT SUPPLY CO OF OHIO?
Robertson Heating Supply Co., a 92-year-old distributor, is looking to fill an opening for a full time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate.
This person may also assist at the sales counter as a Counter Salesperson.
Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday with some available OT
Responsible and prompt individuals looking to grow with a great family-owned company.
Willing to maintaining good customer relations and service with a positive attitude.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Key job responsibilities include:
Warehouse duties may include but not limited to:
Pulling of orders via Inventory Scanner system.
Pallet, wrap, label and stage orders for delivery.
Completion of daily delivery paperwork.
Basic maintenance and cleaning of warehouse.
Driving duties:
Loading, securing and unloading of orders/deliveries with use of lift gates or docks. (hands-on)
Timely Delivery of daily customer orders with a 26' box truck or flat bed.
Completion of daily delivery paperwork. (Capture of signatures and filing of paperwork)
Use of Tablet delivery systems a plus.
Basic maintenance and cleaning of trucks.
Full use of hand truck/carts, pallet jacks and forklifts.
Requirements include: Candidate must possess a self-motivated attitude with strong interpersonal & time management skills.
Box truck driving experience is required and candidate must be 21 years of age.
MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE BOTH MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC
Must have or acquire DOT Physical/Med Cert.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Know how to operate forklift and hand cart
Prior customer service experience is a plus.
Background check and pre-employment/random drug testing required.
