Key Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry: framing, blocking, trim, doors, hardware, and casework
- Install roofing, soffit, gutters, drywall assemblies, partitions, and ceiling systems
- Read and interpret blueprints; perform layout, measurements, and verification of elevations
- Work with non-wood materials common to commercial construction (e.g., steel, concrete interfaces)
- Operate hand/power tools and aerial lifts safely; follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Support site logistics including material handling, storage, cleanup, and housekeeping
- Use form carpentry techniques for stairs, piers, footers, and columns as needed
- Travel to project sites as required, including occasional overnight travel
Must‑Have Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years hands-on commercial carpentry experience
- Ability to read drawings and safely operate hand/power tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and finish quality; ability to work independently and in teams
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in varying weather, and perform strenuous activity in confined spaces as needed
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass required screenings
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA-10 certification
- Experience with scissor/boom lifts and commercial installations
- Demonstrated competencies in communication, teamwork, and client focus
