Electrician – Mining Operations

Willing to relocate to Hawthorne, NV (4/3 shift)

Base Salary:

$40/hour (USD)

The Client:

Our client is a mining operation based in Nevada, focused on efficient and safe mineral extraction and processing. Operating in a rugged, fast-paced environment, the site relies on skilled trades professionals to maintain critical infrastructure and ensure continuous production. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of plant and site electrical systems.

What you will achieve in this role:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment across the mine site
• Troubleshoot and maintain control circuits and instrumentation related to processing equipment, including crushers and conveyor systems
• Work with variable frequency drives, soft starters, and power distribution systems
• Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards and electrical codes
• Support ongoing plant operations by diagnosing and resolving electrical issues efficiently
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, adhering to site protocols and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with supervisors and operations teams to support daily production goals
• Perform additional duties as required to support site operations

What you must bring to this role:

• High school diploma required, with additional electrical trade certification or apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an electrician, in industrial or mining environments
• Must hold a valid MSHA Electrical Card.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and instrumentation
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, MSHA)
• Experience working with high voltage systems, arc flash safety, and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate site vehicles
• Ability to bring and use personal tools as required
• First Responder or EMT certification is considered an asset
