Responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload of federal civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Appear in federal courts for hearings, conferences, and trials
- Advise institutional clients on litigation strategy, case risks, and resolution options
- Ensure compliance with applicable court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
- Work closely with team members across jurisdictions to align legal strategy and client goals
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in New York
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on federal civil practice experience
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in creditors’ rights or financial services litigation is a plus
- Admission to multiple federal courts
- Background in banking, consumer finance, or regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with multi-state practice and case coordination
