Window Cleaning Technician
Roberts Window Cleaning – Phoenix Metro Area
Pay: $20–$25/hour | Full-Time
Roberts Window Cleaning is looking for a dependable, hardworking Window Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and can represent our company professionally while working at residential and commercial properties.
Pay & Training: Training lasts approximately one week and starts at $20/hour. After successfully completing training and demonstrating that you can safely and independently perform the job to our standards, pay increases to $25/hour.
Responsibilities
- Professionally clean interior and exterior windows
- Clean window screens, frames, sills, and tracks
- Remove dirt, dust, fingerprints, water spots, and buildup
- Use traditional squeegee equipment and professional window-cleaning tools
- Learn to properly use water-fed pole systems
- Safely use extension ladders and step ladders
- Work on one-story and two-story residential properties
- Move carefully around customers' furniture, landscaping, and personal property
- Remove and reinstall window screens correctly
- Inspect completed work and correct streaks, drips, missed areas, or other quality issues
- Set up and break down equipment at each job
- Maintain and clean company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow company safety procedures at all times
- Take before-and-after photos when required
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Explain completed work to customers and answer basic service questions
- Identify possible additional services a customer may benefit from
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Arrive to jobs on time and ready to work
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to work
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking directly with customers
- Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather
- Comfortable working on ladders and around heights
- Able to lift and carry ladders, buckets, poles, and other equipment
- Able to stand, bend, reach, climb, and work physically throughout the day
- Dependable and punctual
- Attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and company procedures
- Positive, professional attitude
- Able to work independently after training
- Must respect customers' homes and property
Window-cleaning experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn, a good driving record, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
We want someone who isn't looking to simply clock in and out. We're looking for someone who can eventually be trusted to take a company vehicle, arrive at a customer's home, complete the job correctly, communicate professionally, and represent Roberts Window Cleaning without needing someone standing over them.
Starting Pay: $20/hour during approximately one week of training
After Successful Training: $25/hour
