Marketing Assistant

Position Overview

Roberts’ Tree Experts is looking for a Marketing Assistant to help plan, produce, and track day-to-day marketing across social, web, email, and local campaigns. You’ll collaborate with leadership and our field crews to turn real jobs and customer stories into content that drives leads and builds our brand.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule content (photo/video/copy) for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business Profile
• Draft short-form copy for posts, ads, landing pages, mailers, and customer emails
• Assist with paid ads setup and optimization (Meta/Instagram, Google Ads/LSA)
• Manage reviews and reputation (request, respond, and escalate as needed)
• Keep website pages, galleries, and service info current (Squarespace/WordPress)
• Support EDDM postcards, local sponsorships, events, and community outreach
• Track basic metrics and report weekly (impressions, CTR, CPL, leads by channel)
• Maintain brand assets, photo/video library, and simple templates
• Coordinate with operations to capture before/after content and job highlights
• Uphold Roberts’ Tree Experts voice, accuracy, and professionalism in all communications

Requirements

• 1 year in marketing, social media, or content creation (agency or in-house a plus)
• Strong writing skills and eye for photo/video composition
• Comfortable in Canva (Adobe Creative Cloud a plus)
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads/Analytics, and basic SEO
• Organized, detail-driven, and able to hit deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, team-first attitude and clear communication
• Reliable transportation and punctuality

Nice to Have (Plus)

• Basic editing (Premiere/CapCut), photography, or short-form video skills
• Experience with email tools (Mailchimp/HubSpot) and simple landing pages
• Comfort gathering content on job sites (PPE provided when needed)
