Position Overview
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing North American technical team. This position will support both ILPRA and Sollas installations, providing hands-on service to customers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, enjoys travel, and takes pride in helping customers keep their equipment running at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service ILPRA and Sollas packaging systems
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting
- Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades
- Train customer operators and maintenance teams
- Provide remote technical support via phone/video
- Collaborate with our service and engineering teams in the U.S. and Europe
- Maintain accurate service reports and parts documentation
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in industrial equipment service, packaging machinery, or automation preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; PLC experience (Siemens or Allen-Bradley) a plus
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Comfortable traveling 50–70% across North America
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid passport (or ability to obtain one) for training in Europe

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
