What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider- Court Ordered Visitation Specialist position at Roberts Family Resolution Services?
Roberts Family Resolution Services
Supervised Visitation Specialist (Court-Ordered Parenting Time Monitor) — Weekend Focus
Lone Tree, CO 80124 | $20–$30/hour starting pay | Part-time, Contract
About the Role
Roberts Family Resolution Services is a child-focused agency providing court-ordered supervised visitation services. Our work is to keep children safe while helping them feel supported and engaged during visits with their parents. These visits require a neutral professional to observe and monitor parenting time to ensure both emotional and physical safety in a variety of active indoor and outdoor settings. Specialists remain fully engaged and hands-on with children through play, child interviewing, observation, and documentation.
Requirements (Must Read Before Applying)
- Child Experience: At least 2 years of paid, long-term professional experience directly with children (schools, nannying multiple children, special needs, childcare, ABA, child welfare, youth programs). At least one of those roles must have been held for 12 months or longer with the same employer or family.
- Education: A completed bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
- Location: Must live near Belleview and I-25. The best fit will be those living in Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Greenwood Village, Castle Pines, South Denver, or within 15 minutes of I-25. Applications from Aurora, Lakewood, or Downtown Denver will not be considered due to distance and required travel.
- Emotional Readiness: Able to support children with trauma, abuse histories, autism, ADHD, severe behavioral needs, or developmental delays while supervising parents in high-conflict situations (domestic violence, protection orders, coercive control, substance use, mental health).
- Physical Demands: This is an active, on-your-feet role. Most families walk 15–30 minutes each way to parks from their homes, then play outside or inside for 2–4 hours. You must be comfortable walking, standing, and playing for hours in busy public places (parks, zoos, trampoline gyms, malls, playgrounds, homes) in all weather while actively supervising, and not sitting from the sidelines. During a visit everything must be supervised in eye and ear sight then documented, while you meet the activity levels of young children.
- Driving: Must drive yourself to 1–4 visits per 2-4 hour shift across the Denver metro, year-round, with safe and dependable transportation. You do not transport families, only yourself.
- Commitment: This is a one-year minimum commitment. Our families depend on reliability and building a relationship with their Supervisor. Short-term or “extra income” applicants will not be considered.
