What you’ll do
- Provide outstanding customer service by attentively taking orders and serving food and beverages
- Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Handle cash transactions with precision while adhering to cash handling policies
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is essential
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Preferred qualifications
- Fine dining experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food safety regulations
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge enhances your ability to engage with guests about menu items
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling
