- Summary
- Safely, accurately, and efficiently package powdered tea blends and flavors in accordance with GMP and SQF standards
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs all tasks as assigned by supervision.
- Follows schedule and creates product labels.
- Prepares pack out containers.
- Utilize packaging software to convert finished containers to inventory.
- Operate metal detector and monitor the passage of all finished containers.
- Actively participate in Food Safety Quality Observation Program.
- Comply with good manufacturing practices and Robertet SOP’s ensuring compliance to SQF and regulatory standards.
- Position Requirements
- Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year(s) forklift experience.
- 1 year(s) of food packaging experience or relative industry.
- Preferred:
- 1 year(s) of packaging experience.
- Position Competencies

- Must have communication and interpersonal skills effective enough to interact with employees with other levels of technical backgrounds.

- Work Environment
- Personal Protection Equipment required:
- Area is ventilated but fiber dust mask usage is needed.
- In work areas that exceed 85 decibels, hearing protection is mandatory.
- Safety eyewear and gloves are compulsory.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to wear PPE, including but not limited to respirators. Must have the ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
