About the Role: Baird is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Equity Derivatives Sales Trader to join our Institutional Sales & Trading team in New York. This role is ideal for a proven options trader with strong market acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to build and sustain trusted client relationships. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while contributing to the continued growth of Baird’s equity derivatives platform. The Impact You’ll Make: Drive commission revenue by leveraging client relationships, market insight, trading ideas, and the broader Baird platform Serve as a subject matter expert by educating clients and internal client-facing teams on equity options capabilities Develop, communicate, and execute trading strategies informed by market trends, volatility dynamics, and underlying asset fundamentals Monitor market conditions, regulatory developments, and emerging trends within the equity derivatives space Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, counterparties, and other market participants What You’ll Bring to Baird: 3–7 years of successful experience in equity derivatives trading, with a strong focus on options FINRA licenses: SIE, Series 4, 7, 57 and 63 completed.
