The new Magnolia Grove features two renovated golf courses. Each championship course received extensive upgrades in recent years. Golfers will find more "player friendly" qualities without compromising the integrity of Robert Trent Jones' original design.
Magnolia Grove was recently named one of the "Top 50 Public Courses" by Golf World Magazine readers. The Crossings and Falls courses are also listed in Golf Digest's "Places to Play" as two of the nation's Great Value courses and as "America's Top 50 Affordable Courses."
The topography at Magnolia Grove features creeks, marshland, and lakes with each of the 54 holes carved through indigenous hardwood and pine.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience in a leadership position at a golf course, restaurant or food and beverage operation preferred
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Additional value will be placed on a background in hospitality, or high-service dining operation.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Sunbelt’s policies and applicable laws.
- This is a full-time position. The hours assigned to this position vary each week according to scheduled functions and include working on holidays and weekends.
- The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage reports to the Director of Food and Beverage and assists in all areas of food and beverage operations to include, dining room, kitchen operations, banquet operations, beverage cart service and meeting rooms.
- Assists in hiring and training of full-time, part-time and seasonal staff.
- Assists in cost controls for food and beverage and daily operations.
- Utilizes technology to manage all areas of the food and beverage operation including point of sale, scheduling, payroll, inventory, etc.
- Assists in creating and maintaining a culture of teamwork by having a strong and visible presence with exceptional communication skills.
- Have a passion and aptitude for training personnel.
- Establish and uphold expectations for dress, decorum and service standards.
